Andre Ducote
Conference Chair

Andre F. Ducote was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, and raised in Jackson, Mississippi. He currently resides in Madison, Mississippi, with his wife, Elizabeth, and daughters, Emma and Caroline.

Mr. Ducote attended the University of Mississippi obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree with emphases in History and English in 1992 and a Juris Doctorate in 1995. He is licensed to practice before all Mississippi state and federal courts. Since joining Morgan & Morgan in 2010, Mr. Ducote’s practice has been focused solely on representing injured workers in workers’ compensation claims. He is a partner in the firm’s Jackson, Mississippi office.

In 2014 the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Educational Association (“MWCEA”) Board elected Mr. Ducote a Director. In that capacity, he has held the offices of Vice President, President, Immediate Past President, and currently serves as Conference Chair. Through his work with the MWCEA, Mr. Ducote has been an advocate and educator in the community as well as a promotor and fundraiser for Kids’ Chance of Mississippi, a non‐profit organization dedicated to providing college scholarships for the children of Mississippi workers killed or catastrophically injured in work-related accidents.

Mr. Ducote is an active communicant of St. Columb’s Episcopal Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He is active in his church having been a choir member for over 20 years and having served in various parish leadership roles. He currently is a Member of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi Honduras Medical Mission Board. He is also a fan Ole Miss sports, a student of history, collector of antique arms, and struggling golfer.
