Donald Moore
Director

Donald has over 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense. After graduating from Tulane University School of Law in 1991, he moved to the Coast and joined a firm whose primary area of practice was defending state and federal workers’ compensation claims. Donald spent years defending one of Mississippi’s largest employers and defending both self-insureds and carriers.

After 31 years of practice with the same firm, Donald recently joined the firm of Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith in their Gulfport office. The firm has offices across the Gulf South, from Florida to Texas and presented a better opportunity for Donald to service his clients located outside of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Donald regularly defends maritime employers located in Florida, Alabama and Louisiana.

Donald is licensed to practice law in Mississippi and Louisiana. He is a member of both state bar associations and the local association as well. He previously served on the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Mississippi Bar and has been an approved mediator with the Kids’ Chance Mediation Pilot Project since its inception over 20 years ago.

Donald and his wife have two children and reside in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He is civically active and formerly served as an Alderman for the City of Pass Christian. He also served for 12 years on the Harrison County Library System Board of Trustees and was the Chairman of the Board for several years. He is past Chairman of the Pass Christian CivilService Commission and served 12 years on that board, and currently serves as a Commissioner with the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center Commission.
